Sphinx is proud to announce it has been selected as the recipient of the 2024 Nunn-Perry Award, the highest honor bestowed by the U.S. Department of War Mentor-Protégé Program (MPP). The award recognizes protégé companies that have demonstrated exceptional growth, maturity, and mission contribution through the program — and the mentors who helped get them there.

Sphinx Chief Development Officer Richard Aves represented the company at the award ceremony, receiving the recognition on behalf of the Sphinx team. Aves also participated in a panel discussion engaging stakeholders from across Government and industry who make the DoW MPP a reality.

The Department of War Mentor-Protégé Program is designed to enhance the capabilities of small businesses participating in federal contracting by pairing them with experienced prime contractors. The Nunn-Perry Award is presented annually to the mentor-protégé teams that best demonstrate the program's intent: meaningful technology transfer, substantive subcontracting opportunities, and measurable growth in the protégé's ability to compete for and perform prime contracts.
